Before anything, the founding partners of etc&co were friends. And, before that, college classmates who ended up graduating in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Amongst the endless days and nights spent in Chiado, Bairro Alto and a Lisbon that shouted stimuli, it was quite effortlessly they both realised the path they wanted to take. They also realised that this path coincided. In 2007 they decided that their ideas would only depend on themselves to see the light of day.

From 2007 to the present day, countless projects were born by the hands of both, including 5 children, happy marriages, as well as many ideas that did not make it, and many grey hairs that they hide with mastery.

Today, despite the fact that so much has changed, they continue to share the same enthusiasm as in the beginning. They are also the same friends that back in 2007, with the sun setting behind them in some tavern, said to each other ‘So, what if we opened something of our own?'.
